My name is Alexis O'Malley and I can talk to animals. Well I can do more then that. I can transform in to animals. I have been able to do that ever sense I was a baby. That's the reason my parents gave me up. I'd been in an orphanage for a long time I started to think that no one wanted me. Everyone was so scared of me.

I always had my friends though. They were always around to make me smile. When the others were scared of me I never stopped trying to be their friend. Though great things happened when I turned five.

That was when I ran away. Using my powers I was able to travel the world, languages were a bit easy for me to pick up because I already know a lot of them. I spent two years on my own no one ever did anything about the little mutant girl. I met a lot of people and a lot of animals. Everything was very fun and I loved when new people came in to my life. It was my seventh year when theses strange people came for me. I wasn't scared they were not like the others but they offered me things an orphanage never could.

One man was very hairy and he seemed grumpy but I could tell he was nice like the other. One lady said I could have my own bed and even some knew clothes. Another man said I could have a bath. I couldn't tell you how long it had been since I had a decent bath. Like a good girl I accepted the offer and went with the three people however when we got on the big airplane I started to cry. I didn't like it to much because I liked flying myself and it was not my cup of tea. I could see the hairy guy didn't like it as well and I changed in to a puppy and clung to the man until I fell asleep.

When I woke up I was in a bed and in a night gown. It was a really nice being in a home like place. I did have a room mate, though I was not to sure who she was but she would really be someone to befriend later.

When I went snooping I found lots of people none of them seemed scared of me though they did wonder why I was dirty. When I found the nice lady she helped me find my way and I got all cleaned up. I did find Mr. Logan and he is really fun to be around, so is his son. I found everyone was really nice and since I was so small I got to help everyone out. One day I want to be an x-men just like my friends. As of right now. I just want to be me.

I'm eight and I live at a school of mutants. My power is shape shifting and I can talk to animals, I'm small yes but I am powerful.
