Physical Appearance: Jimmy Hudson, immediately when the name is said, and image of his father Logan comes to mind, albeit shorter, less bulky, and generally with less hair. Of course, while certain features Jimmy shares with his father, the boy is hardly a doppelganger. No, with a strong jaw line, impressive musculature of his own, and blond hair, it is quite easy to tell the two apart.

Many consider Hudson to have the quintessential "manly" look down, though with somewhat fairer features like somewhat pale skin, blue eyes, and blonde hair. Jimmy is typically the tallest one in the room at an impressive 6'2", practically dwarfing his father, and only being beaten in the height game most times by members of the Rasputin family, and other notably tall individuals. His jaw is somewhat broad, and possesses a powerful look to it. Typically, Jimmy likes to wear his hair short, not wanting to be concerned with the difficult and trivial difficulties of handling hair much longer than what it is seen as most times.

While he gives off the aura of confidence and seems sure most of the time, James usually wears a somewhat sheepish smile, the young man being somewhat timid most of the time when compared to the gruff and boisterous likes of his father. When not around his father, however, one can be hard-pressed to find Jimmy not in some sort of grin, or in the middle of a bout of laughter.

Typically, the young feral prefers casual clothes, especially taking to hoodies and jeans. A long-running joke among his social circle is that Scavenger keeps a collection of black t-shirts in his closet, to the forgoing of all other colours, regardless of the fact that Hudson has been known to also feature blues, reds, and browns in his wardrobe composition. Jimmy always seems to favour pair of work boots as well, even moving them into uniforms, and a pair of gloves which are either black or brown, chosen to match the particular colour of leather he chose to house his feet in that day. Another constant that Hudson wears is a small necklace with a silver pendant, though the meaning of this piece of jewelry has yet to be verbally expanded upon on his part.

Being both a New Mutant, and a member of the Xavier's Institute student body, Jimmy has both a training uniform and a mission suit for both factions.

In his student dress-downs, Jimmy's uniform features a largely unremarkable leather jumpsuit, with an Xavier's insignia on not only the centre chest, but over each shoulder as well. Running the length of both arms, the lower portions of both these continues, crossing each other again, until they eventually meet over the tops of both hands to form the final X. While the training variant is red, with white trim, the mission variant is black with the trim being a muted crimson.

As a member of the New Mutants, the design is more or less the same, though the New Mutants variant for both is a cobalt and gold scheme, with the colours inverting between training and mission. As training-wear, the gold is primary, with all supplements using the cobalt, while his mission-ware is the primary instead uses the cobalt. In training, the neon in the gold components turns to more of a dark red when under a certain amount of light, to reflect his classification as a feral mutant.

Personality: Jimmy is an easy-going enough young man, having been raised around other children most of his life, while living at the institute. Though he's rather serious a lot of the time, the feral isn't a total stick in the mud. Knowing how to cut loose from time to time and have fun. Not as anti-social as his father, Jimmy's gruffness doesn't shine through as a near-constant beacon of aggression like Logan.

While in the presence of his dad, however, Hudson becomes noticeably more timid, as if from some form of subconscious cue, and not any active desire to do so. Other than this, the boy gets along famously with his dad, and only has slight issues with being compared to Wolverine overall. The pair often spend quality time together, fishing, hunting, camping, and the like.

Loyal and fiercely protective, Jimmy doesn't let go of his loved ones easily. Even if they've somehow wronged him, Hudson is known to side with, and look out for those he cares about. Most of the time it falls into the order of family, friends, teammates, and classmates, though this has been known to change temporarily from time to time. Betrayal can come at a steep price, however, as if you sell Jimmy out completely, he will completely lose any interest in the person in question.

Personal History: Wolverine, well-known superhero and X-man, is a man of many years, and many adventures. Widely considered to be one of the more licentious individuals among the heroic community, he has had many lovers. Directly as a result, he has also had many children, though he has personally met very few of them. On one occasion, however, Logan slept with a woman who was very close to home, and didn't die as a result of being close to the highly unlucky mutant.

As a result, Miss Hudson not only bore the child of James Howlett, but proved to be the only woman on Earth who could force the man to domesticate. Or, at least domesticate well enough to help her raise James Hudson, as she'd decided to name the boy. Specifically, to irritate the man, Jimmy was not only given the middle name "Scott" But was even made Summers' god-son, though this didn't stop Logan from bonding with the boy, after receiving shared custody. Over the years, Jimmy attended the Xavier's Institute as a full-time student, making all his friends there, and even establishing something of a family with his student teammates. The boy was also close to his father, the two caring for each other and spending much time together engaging in normal "father-son" activities.

Emulating his dad on some level, Jimmy developed a fondness for cars, motorcycles, and mechanics, often spending time in the garage and engineering labs learning as much as he can. Hudson, seeming to be one of the few students who is planning to have a somewhat normal life when he can, hopes to own his own custom automotive garage. Currently he's working on a 1960 Ford Falcon from the ground up, on a bet with Logan to get the old machine running as if it were new again.

Superhuman Powers:
Mutant Healing Factor - Jimmy has a healing factor, which allows his body cells to regenerate at an extremely rapid rate, by reproducing quickly to compensate for damage received. Body parts and entire bones can be regrown in this manner, though at a slow rate and if the wound is allowed to remain open, or be re-opened. The only cells which do not return by this process are those in his brain, meaning that while he is all but impossible to kill by most means, he cannot survive forms of death by decapitation and drowning.
====Disease Immunity - Earth-borne diseases, and most extraterrestrial ones, have no affect on Hudson. Thanks to his powerful immune system and constantly regenerating cellular structure, no disease listed by SHIELD can have an affect on the young man. Likely due to an absence of adamantium in his system, Scavenger's healing factor seems to be faster than his father's.
====Foreign Chemical Immunity - Poisons, Toxins, even Alcohol, don't have any affect on Jimmy. His body effectively processes any non-native substances without yielding any change in the mutant's system. The only noted exception are pheromones, which when derived from a superhuman source, can have rather extreme affects on feral mutants, including Jimmy.
====Age Stunting - Though this has yet to take, when Jimmy's body reaches its biological peak, the mutant will cease ageing.
====Enhanced Muscle Performance - Due to years of intensive training, Jimmy's muscles have underwent fairly considerable damage, which as a result of the healing factor would quickly return back to optimal condition stronger. This allows the young man's muscles to grow much faster than normal, already having peak levels of endurance, durability, and agility among human capabilities. His strength is also considered high end, almost able to lift twice his body-weight off of a bench press.
Retractable Bone Claws - In each of Jimmy's forearms are housed a set of three bones which bear a distinctly blade-like appearance. When protracted, each blade extends roughly nine inches, with the remaining three "anchoring" the remaining part of said bone in his hand. When unsheathed, the bones prevent the bending of either wrist, due to the fact that the bases of his claws reach past the threshold of each when out.
====Organic Metal Generation - Small particles in Jimmy's blood cell house a unique chemical, which by will can be released into his body, and upon making contact with the surface of his claw's bone can temporarily become a metal-like material. Upon adhering, the claws gain an edge and durability which is comparable to that of adamantium, able to withstand blows from the super-metal, but conversely unable to actually cut said material.
Super-humanely Acute Senses - All of Jimmy's senses are enhanced to a superhuman degree, particularly his senses of hearing and smell. Earning the name Scavenger, Hudson's senses seem to be keener than his dad's, though not by a considerable amount.
Skills:
Combat Training - As both a student of Xavier's and a New Mutant, Jimmy has been given rather strong training in the use of his powers, and general combat skills. Not only does he have this, but training from Logan, and tutoring in several martial arts which include kickboxing, karate, and taekwondo. More than anything, however, Jimmy is quite skilled in the wielding of his claws.
Tracking - Through the use of his powerful senses, Jimmy is able to find many targets, supplemented by the hunting tactics that his father taught to him, Hudson can be evaded by very few when he is putting his tracking prowess to the test.
Stealth - Able to get around quietly, and without being detected by those who aren't observing. Jimmy isn't the stealthiest of people, but isn't a slacker by any means.
Acrobatics - Using a natural agility, and further enhanced by routine practice, James is an acrobat of respectable talent. Able to perform complex routines, Hudson is able to avoid gunfire at a more considerable distance.
Education - A student at the Xavier's Institute, Jimmy has been given access to a superior-than-public education. Versed in higher-level technology, and having a talent for mechanics, Hudson does decently at the school's standard, being a high-B student. Likely, he's already more than prepared for college.
Equipment:
Uniform - Hudson's training and mission uniforms have bullet-proof modifications, which permit him to withstand low-impact firearms from a short distance, but not anything more considerable. It doesn't provide much protection against other types of harm, but the gloves are designed from a unique fibre which allows them to reseal any cuts, rips, tears, or slits.
