Jordan walked down the streets of New York. She had her hair noticeably out of her pigtails and it was laying relaxed on and past her shoulders. Her ice blue eyes were were as cold as they normally were. Today the girl walked in a light blue tank top with faded blue jeans and black combat boots. It was indeed a colder day and people shook their heads at the girl who was crazy enough to wear a tank top in what they thought to be cold weather. They would however only be met with a colder breeze as they passed her.
The woman finally made it to the place where she was heading. Making her way in to the building she found her way to the door she was looking for. Lightly Jordan knocked on the door she then shifted her weight to one leg. The nervous feelings Jordan always felt came back. She liked Jon, she felt like she could trust him, hell he was the only one in the Brotherhood she trusted with her real name. She could touch him and he would not die. She was not one for physical touching but when they did touch she was glad not to kill him.
She was more nervous because of her paranoia. After all she was a very very visually and sensibly noticeable. The girl tried to push the thoughts away and they worked and her nerves started to calm down as she started to absorb the heat from the building. Snow had gotten better control of her powers but the absorbing part she was still trying to learn.

No jobs, no Brotherhood business that particular day. Jon Rand had nothing going on, to be frank. It was days like this, that the man took an opportunity to un-wind. Of course, he still did the training and working out that characterized every morning for the ninja, being intense, and allowing him to work up a sweat before the day began. Ultimately, he would probably spend an afternoon going over his plan to obtain the Amulet of Dragons.
The inside of the apartment was like something you'd expect to see in the arctic. With small banks of snow literring the floor occasionally, icicles growing from the ceiling, and anywhere else that water could have been spilled or gathered.
He had just gotten out of the shower, wearing shorts and toweling off what water he could manage, though the surface of his skin and some strads of hair still had ice covering them from where the man's body had been much too fast. Of course, water that was cooled to just above the freezing temperature provided a hot shower for the man, but did cause sheets to formed.
When he heard the door be knocked on, the man initially sighed. Seemed that someone would have to die. Taking several strides towards the portal that entered his abode, he oppened the door to see Jordan. His lips twitched upwards for a brief moment, in the closest thing that Rand could manage into a smile.
"Miss Haizel, to what do I owe this pleasure." Jon said with a small layer of flirtation in his tone.

She stood at the door, this felt so weird to her. Never once had she gone willing to a male's house let alone knowing she would be alone with one. He was different and she was happy with that. He opened the door and made the somewhat smiling face. The girl was not one to smile but she tried to smile back it turned out to be a half smile. As he said her name she twitched a little. Not because she was scared but because she was not use to others using any part of her name. It was something she would need to get use to. "Well, It's not everyday that a knight in cold armor saves me." She looked up at him, she was trying so hard to be romantic. "Well I got you this." She offered him the bag.
Jordan had spent hours at a mall, it was the worst thing that she could have done in the world. It was filled with people who just stared at her, some even claiming she was a freak. She would have snapped at the mall and froze everything over if she didnt have a goal in her mind. Besides what fun would it be freezing a whole mall with out anyone to enjoy it with. She ended up in a book store spending time looking for a book Jon didn't have. So the true question was what was in the bag she gave the man. In the bag their was a bottle of wine, the finest she could find and a book that she noticed he didn't have.
"Devon told me it's a thing people do when someone helps them. To get them things." She thought about how customs changed since the last time she actually tried being "normal." Normally she would have just trained harder to not be in a situation like she had been. She would have gone in to a rage of anger that she couldn't protect herself and the brotherhood on her own. Snow liked being Independent and not needing anyone but deep inside she knew she needed someone to catch her if she fell.
